About Us

Kristu Jayanti College, founded in 1999, is managed by "BODHI NIKETAN TRUST", formed by the members of St. Joseph Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI).The institution strives to fulfill its mission to provide educational opportunities for all aspiring young people to excel in life by developing academic excellence, fostering values, creating civic responsibility, inculcating environmental concern and building global competencies in a dynamic environment. The College is affiliated to Bengaluru North University and is reaccredited with grade 'A++' in 2021 by NAAC in the Third Cycle of Accreditation. The college is recognized by UGC under the category 2(f) & 12(B). The College has been accorded Autonomous Status since 2013 by the University Grants Commission, the Government of Karnataka & Bangalore University.

In the NIRF 2024, Our college has been ranked 60th place in the top 100 colleges in the country. In the India Today - MDRA survey 2024, Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru is consecutively ranked as the Best Emerging College of the Century at National Level for Commerce, Science, Arts and Social Work. The Department of Computer Science (PG) at Kristu Jayanti College, Autonomous, Bangalore, offers advanced postgraduate programs, including MCA, M.Sc. in Computer Science, and M.Sc. in Data Science, affiliated with Bangalore North University. These full-time, two-year programs emphasize a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, covering data management, intelligent systems, and software development while addressing ethical and security considerations.

Shells 2025

SHELLS 2025, a National Level Inter-Collegiate IT Fest, is a one-day event that is a fusion of technology and accomplishments. It is conducted by the Department of Computer Science [PG] to prepare its students to become future leaders by providing them excellence through education, exposure, and experience. The student coordinators can register the participants on behalf of their college. Please upload the participants sheet during the registration process

Group Registration

  • Each group will have 18 participants (for all events).
  • A maximum of two groups per college is allowed, but theymust be from two different departments.
  • Contingent Registration Amount: ₹3300/-

Individual Event Registration

  • IT Manager Amount: ₹300/-
  • Other Events Amount: ₹200/- per participant

General Guidelines for the Event

  1. Any student pursuing postgraduate in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science & Applications, Data Science, Information Technology or related fields can participate.
  2. All participants are requested to get a bonafide letter from their respective institutions along with their ID cards.
  3. On-the-spot registration is available, but participants are encouraged to register through the website in advance.
  4. Participants are expected to uphold the decorum of the event. Any violation, including the use of foul or inappropriate language, will lead to immediate disqualification.
  5. Participants are advised to clarify their doubts with the respective event coordinators before the event.
  6. Participants are kindly requested to adhere to a formal dress code and are expected to dress formally.
  7. Participants are requested to be present at the venue of their events 15 minutes before the event starts.
  8. If eliminated, participants are welcome to participate in other events, keeping the time constraints in mind.
  9. Students participating in IT Manager, Gaming and Surprise event cannot participate in other events.
  10. Participants will be held responsible for any damage to the college property, if found guilty.
